How Do Invisalign Aligners Work?
Invisalign clear aligners work via a custom set of transparent removable aligners that incrementally direct your teeth into their optimal location. To initiate your orthodontic treatment, our Cranston, RI staff will take impressions of your lower and upper teeth, which will be sent to a special lab where your unique teeth aligner trays will be made. After your aligner trays arrive at our office, our team will schedule you to come back in to pick up your first set and discuss instructions on how to wear them. The teeth aligners should be kept in the mouth for at least 20 – 22 hours each day and only taken out just before brushing, flossing, eating snacks or meals, or drinking liquids. Approximately every 1 – 2 weeks, you will need to trade your current pair of Invisalign aligners for the next in the series. Absolutely the best dentist I've ever been to. They took me on an emergency on a halfday due to weather. I ended up getting a root canal in hopes to save my tooth. I was not a patient there but now I am and will always be. I'm so grateful that I was helped today. The pain I was in was unbearable and they made sure was seen. Can't say enough about this practice but highly recommended.
